Senior Education Counsellor / Global Outreach Officer

Currently seeking a full time motivated, experienced and driven Senior Education Counsellor with
3-5 years of experience for our chief student centre based in Noida. The Applicant will have 3-5 years of experience in counselling students and good knowledge of the Indian Schooling & Education System. The ideal candidate for the position will have excellent communication skills with command over spoken and written English as well as the local language; compassionate nature towards assisting students; a desire to learn on the job and result-oriented. The position is full time and the attractive remuneration package will be commensurate withexperience and industry standards.

Qualifications & Skills Required

Graduate ( All Credentials Required )
Work Experience 3 - 5 years as Education Counsellor or related to the field of Education
Working Knowledge of iOS & Windows based platforms.
Presentable and smartly dressed.
Good Command over English and any other Language
Hands-on working knowledge of Google Documents and Applications.
Patient and Empathetic to deal with wide range of students and parents.

Duties & Responsibilities

Counsellors are generally office based but occasionally will need to travel to local schools and
colleges for conducting workshops and seminars
Counsellors can sometimes be expected to network and socialise with a range of stakeholders
and customers to build and maintain relationships
A formal dress code, cheerful attitude and maintaining a congenial working environment are strict
requirements.
Occasionally travel to other locations (branches) may be required for 2-3 days for the training/
workshop/ exhibitions; depending on the assignment, the role may demand domestic travel to
schools in India.

Tasks

Offer students information on ArtShala Centre for Design as a study destination, general
information on our programs and courses, fee structure, admission requirements and other
information.
Conduct detailed profile assessment of students interested in studying at ArtShala and
accordingly assist in shortlisting design universities and colleges that fits their profile.
Advise students on career choices available and universities that offer relevant programs.
Network with a range of stakeholders including schools, colleges, universities and training
centres.
Communicate with target audiences and manage customer relationship.
Effective follow-up with prospective students.
Mentor students through resolving queries and other issues.
Responsible for maintaining and updating registers and student database at branch level.
Conduct market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups.
Support the operations manager and other colleagues.
Provide Counselling Services to students/parents in person, over the phone or via email.
Creating and maintaining schedules and calendar of events and other important activities for
Faculty and other staff.
Working along side Faculty and Marketing Staff to represent the Centre at Off Site Workshops
and Events.
